Luvly
Superuser was asked to design a cohesive user experience across multiple touch points including the in-vehicle HMI, Mobile app and websites for Luvly. This project focuses on the HMI of the vehicle.
Together with the team at Luvly we set out a clear vision to create a minimalistic, non-intrusive interface that could seamlessly integrate with the user's own devices. The main objectives that guided the design were:
⭐️ An HMI that doesn't require the user's visual attention to be operated.
⭐️ An HMI that is safe to use while driving.
⭐️ An information architecture that is quick to learn and memorise.
⭐️ A minimalistic interface with just the necessary information and inputs. Reduce, Reuse, Re-think.
In the end we managed to define a unique vehicle experience with a minimalistic dashboard, D-pads on the steering wheel that operate the information display, a left steering wheel stick for wipers, lights and horn and a right steering wheel stick for gear shifting and cruise control.
